I secured this job as a direct recommendation from the host of the PNW Lens Summit, Michael Koerner. Serving as Event Producer for both trade shows made cross-marketing extremely easy—and essentially guaranteed—for both clients. In terms of customers, these media production trade shows are a natural complement with little to no competition.

From planning to execution, my responsibilities included: 

• Revamping event website on WordPress

• Serving as a primary liaison to exhibitors

  • Created registration with Notion Forms: accounted for internal needs like booth requests, shipping to event location, sponsorship opportunities, and marketing assets (e.g. logo, company description, social media)

  • Managed RSVPs, promoted in marketing once confirmed

  • Provided general info & answered questions, e.g. set-up and tear-down times, marketing toolkit

• Securing two food trucks, one for each day of the event

• Designing & printing unique name badges for all exhibitors, staff, and guests

• Marketing event to local media production community

• Ensuring a safe event with COVID-19 health considerations

• Securing and managing event staff for all areas and times of the event, including set up and tear down.
